Dear CPGIS members

We are now concluded the CPGIS presidential and BOD election 2011. On behalf of the election committee, I am pleased to announce that Pinde Fu has been elected as the  president for the term 2013-14 (Nov. 2012 - Oct. 2013). Congratulations, and look forwards to moving forward the CPGIS community under your leadership in the near future.

The BOD election was a much closer contest. Finally, the following four candidates won the election: Shaowen Wang, Bing Xu, Shixiong Hu, and Daoqin Tong for the term 2011-2013 (Nov. 2011 - Oct. 2013) . Congratulations, and welcome  on board.

I would like to thank for all your participation, which make it another successful election with a high voting rate. Particularly, I would like to acknowledge the diligent work from the election committee members and shuming's web team under a tight schedule. I also thank Yongmei, Xun and Diansheng for your comments and suggestions during the election process.

Again, Congratulations to Pinde, Shaowen, Bing, Shixiong and Daoqin.
