CPGIS Business Meeting at AAG2010
CPGIS had a successful business meeting at AAG 2010 in DC on April 16 evening. Prof. Diansheng Guo chaired the meeting. Aijun Chen (The CPGIS president), Chaowei Yang, Lin Liu, Xun Shi, Fang Qiu, Yongmei Luo, Bin Li, and Shuming Bao reported the current progress of CPGIS activities, including CPGIS professional GIS training program, CPGIS treasure report, CPGIS Go-home program, CPGIS Young Scholar program, CPGIS best paper competition, CPGIS bylaw amendment, CPGIS women group, and CPGIS Headquarters projects. More than 60 members participated in the meeting. After the business meeting, CPGIS hosted a dinner party in a nearby Chinese restaurant. Prof. Liping Ding and Cahowei Yang help covered part of the dinner expenses as a local host.
