Dear CPGIS Members
First of all, I would like to say sorry for the late report and delaying Dr. Xun Shi's new team to begin their work. We have to wait for the voting results for the new BOD election and Bylaws amending and clarify some financial issues. It is very nice to see that Dr. Xun Shi’s team already began conducting their obligations from the beginning of this month.
How time flies! One year passed so fast, it is time for me to submit CPGIS 2010 Annual Report here. Attached please find the report and its appendixes in pdf version.
The annual report was formed based on reports submitted by Headquarter, all committees, and some regions. Dr. Xun Shi, as the treasure, prepared the financial report based on his records and the records from Headquarter and China mainland region. However, I will take responsibility for any errors and/or missing, please don’t hesitate to drop me a line should you find any mistakes. I would be more than happy to correct and re-announce them.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful management team, including BOD, Headquarter, all committees, and all regional teams. All directors, chairs and mangers in those sub-teams played a very important and charming leading role in conducting their work in the past year. I would also like to appreciate the support and trust from all CPGIS members!
On behalf of CPGIS 2010 management team, I now announce that the CPGIS 2010 management team is officially dismissed. Dr. Xun Shi, hereby I officially hand over all the power to you and your team. I believe you will improve and develop our association to a higher level.
Thank you all again for your services and selfless contributions to CPGIS!
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day. I would like to express my sincerest blessing to all CPGIS members and friends:
Aijun Chen,
President of CPGIS 2010
