Describe:  https://jobs.hr.wisc.edu/en-us/job/511140/faculty-director-of-gis-professional-programs The University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Geography is seeking to hire a Tenure-Track Director of GIS Professional Programs (GISPP; https://geography.wisc.edu/gis/). The Director will be hired as an Assistant Professor of Geographic Information Science & Technology (GIS&T) with a 9-month academic appointment, with an additional month of summer salary plus standard opportunities for summer salary, and will begin on or after August 2022. This position will follow UW-Madison's integrated model of research, teaching, and service, with demonstrated impact in GISPP leadership part of a successful tenure dossier. To facilitate orientation, the position will begin at the Associate Director level with reduced administrative and teaching responsibilities, with promotion to Director expected to occur approximately three years after initial hire. A Ph.D. in Geography, GIScience, or allied field is required at the time of appointment.
