The Data Science Unit at William & Mary (https://www.wm.edu/as/data-science/), a public university of the Commonwealth of Virginia, seeks applications for a tenure-track position as the Director of the Center for Geospatial Analysis (CGA) (https://www.wm.edu/as/cga/). Candidates will be considered at the advanced Assistant, Associate, or Professor level, depending on qualifications, with an academic appointment in Data Science. The selected candidate will be expected to externally fund a graduate (Ph.D.) research group, as well as regularly publish in well ranked outlets appropriate to the candidate’s area of expertise. Teaching assignment for this tenure-track position is expected to be at the level of one course per semester (two courses per year).
