Job Description
Our GeoSpatialX lab (https://blog.nus.edu.sg/geospatialx/),
based in the Geography Department at National University of Singapore, has
conducted a series of international trade and supply chain research with
geospatial big data analytics. We are seeking to recruit two excellent
Postdoctoral Fellows on exploring Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership
(RCEP)'s impacts on ASEAN's trade in the wake of the COVID-19 pandamic and
midst economic and political tensions using big data and visual analytics
approach.
Qualifications
You will have a PhD or equivalent professional
qualifications and relevant research experience in a GIS/complex
network/economics/computer science/statistical/mathematical discipline. Strong
experiences in difference-in-differences, gravity modelling, network analysis,
graph neural networks, and visual analytics with domain knowledge in
international trade network, global value chains, and supply chains would be
advantanges. The project work will be highly interdisciplinary and as such
there is some flexibility to accommodate expertise from a range of cognate
disciplinary backgrounds (e.g. GIS. economics, complex network, computer
science, etc).
