CPGIS 2011 Annual Meeting
The 19th International Conference on Geoinformatics (Geoinformatics 2011) was successfully held on June 24-26 at EastChinaNormalUniversity, Shanghai, China. The theme of this year's conference is "GIS in Education and Business". The keynote speakers include Drs. Michael Goodchild, Guanhua Xu, Hui Lin, Simon Thompson, and Vincent Tao. The conference received 900 abstracts with 550 full papers. The conference organized two plenary sessions on "new trends in GIS", one student paper competition session, 64 oral presentation sessions, and eight poster sessions.
