We are pleased to announce an update for the 32nd International Conference on Geoinformatics (Geoinformatics 2025). As part of our commitment to facilitating high-quality submissions and enhancing the participation experience, we highlight the following key updates:
1. Extended Submission Deadline
To allow authors more time for preparation, the deadline for submission of extended abstracts and full papers has been extended to March 15, 2025.
2. Keynote Speakers Announced
We are excited to confirm the participation of distinguished keynote speakers who are leaders in the related field of GIScience. The confirmed keynote speakers for Geoinformatics 2025 are:

- Huadong Guo - Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences

3. Publications
Conference Proceedings by IEEE:
Accepted full papers will be published in the IEEE Xplore. (Previous Geoinformatics conference proceedings have been indexed by EI Compendex) Authors who wish to publish their full papers in IEEE Xplore must ensure that their submissions comply with formatting guidelines which can be found at: https://www.cpgis.org/Conferences/ConferenceDefault.aspx?ID=2081
Special Issue in Peer-Reviewed Journals:
Authors can choose to submit their full papers to special issues of supporting journals associated with the conference. Papers must follow the journal’s formatting requirements and will go through a regular peer-review process.

- Proposal for organizing oral sessions due:
January 15, March 15, 2025
- Submission deadline (extended abstract OR full paper):
February 25, March 15, 2025
- Notification of acceptance (presentation - oral or poster): March 25, 2025
- Notification of full paper acceptance: March 31, 2025
- Registration opens: April 15, 2025
- Early Bird registration ends: May 1, 2025
