  1. Introduction

The GeoInformatics Conference series was initiated by the International Association of Chinese Professionals in Geographic Information Sciences (CPGIS) in 1992 and has held 32 annual international conferences on geographic informatics all over the world. This international conference series has provided a unique forum for exchanging novel ideas and cutting-edge knowledge on geographic information sciences and technologies among GIScience professionals worldwide. The GIS Unit, Department of Geography, National University of Singapore (NUS), welcomes you to the 33rd International Conference on Geoinformatics, which will be held between 19-22 July 2026, at University Town (UTown), NUS. The main theme of 2026 Conference on Geoinformatics is Geo-innovations for a sustainable and resilient society. The conference will include thematic presentations, group discussions, paper competitions, special forums, etc. All the accepted papers will be officially published as conference proceedings (EI retrieval). The conference will also organize academic special journals to recommend excellent papers to be published in international relevant journals after the peer-review process.

- Abstract submission deadline: 2 March, 2026 (Mon)

- Abstract acceptance: 6 April, 2026 (Mon)

- Early-bird registration deadline: 17 April, 2026 (Fri)

- Presenter Registration deadline: 8 May, 2026 (Fri)

- Optional full paper deadline: 6 June, 2026 (Mon)
